I am a Brazilian-born somatic photographer, educator, and mentor living between Hawai’i and New York. I am the creator of Soul Portrait, a mytho-somatic approach to photography that merges ancestral storytelling, somatic presence, and sacred witnessing. I facilitate deeply embodied sessions using somatic principles to guide my clients, often healing artists, through personal thresholds of visibility, self-expression and leadership. As a mentor, I support other photographers in building a business structure for their sacred vision while cultivating intuitive, soul-led practices.

Thais has an unusual capacity of being extremely skilled as a photographer and deeply kind and empathic, almost one might say empty of self. This quality allows her to see and capture everyday magic.
